Full Job Description

OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Lead Installer who can also run service calls. You’ll lead commercial/residential installs and handle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for service requests. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the trade, a valid journeyman license, and EPA certifications. You work with minimal supervision, keep customers informed, and stay current on HVAC tech and best practices.

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

We’re a well-established HVAC contractor with 15+ years of residential experience across Missouri and Illinois. We’re growing into government and larger commercial work and looking for pros who want to grow with us.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • No on-call schedule for after-hours/emergency required
  • Lead and manage installation projects end-to-end to quality and schedule
  • Oversee/assist with sheet metal fabrication and installation
  • Conduct site visits to assess scope, verify quality, and support estimating
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to keep workflows efficient
  • Run service calls: diagnose issues, perform repairs and maintenance, and document findings
  • Communicate clearly with customers on options, pricing, and next steps
  • Ensure safety compliance and company standards on every job
  • Provide on-the-job training and support to installation staff
  • Stay current on HVAC technology and industry trends

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years HVAC experience with a focus on commercial/industrial installs
  • Valid journeyman license required
  • EPA Universal Certification required (refrigeration and additional EPA certs a plus)
  • Experience or familiarity with refrigeration systems (preferred)
  • Experience working with sheet metal required
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
